Dear Joseph. I wanted to write and offer condolences at the loss of your father. He was someone who did much to bring faith to life. I remember one time we were standing at his topographical model of Israel and he was describing the land. I asked in his view if the earth was old or young. It was a topic on my mind then. He no doubt could have engaged in a technical discussion but he said “the Bible doesn’t say”. I learned something there and appreciated the wisdom.
